Introducing

Welcome to Photo Books by Brandi. My mission is to help people enjoy their photos that they have locked up in their phones. Photo books are just one way I design photos. Photo collages are a great way to display your related photos all together in one cohesive design. While calendars and planners are a fantastic way to view your photos everyday without taking up wall space. And don’t forget your phone, tablet, and computer wallpapers are another excellent way to display your favorite photos and you can rotate those collages as often as you like. Photos also really personalize a gift. You can even turn a single photo or a whole collage into a joyful greeting card for any occasion.

My very first photo design project was actually my own wedding album. This was an ambitious project, but shortly after receiving my wedding photo proofs, my photographer disappeared. I was lucky to have gotten photos at all. So I found myself an online photo book company. Picaboo was the company I ended up choosing for my first wedding album.

For my tenth anniversary I updated that album with a much longer photo book from Mixbook. I was wowed by the customization and creativity I could achieve in mixbook. I actually found Mixbook when I was creating my sister’s wedding album. I started out using snapfish but ended up having trouble during the transaction and decided to start over.

Mixbook offered excellent quality, and they promised to keep a digital copy saved in my account forever as long as I purchased one copy of the book. So my sister got the physical copy, and I get to enjoy it digitally forever. This feature was a must for my baby nephew’s first album that I created at the beginning of the year.

This year I also discovered Canva. Canva actually promises to save your digital designs forever even if you never make a purchase. You can even download your designs from Canva and upload them to any photo print site. This feature is critical for my customers so I typically will use Canva for my designs, unless my customer specifically requests something else.
